There are excellent online resources about the Catholic Church. Unfortunately, there are many that are untrustworthy or worse. The following links are reliable and helpful:

Vatican (www.vatican.va)
The website of the Holy See, available in several languages, has an excellent resource library and all documents relating to Pope Benedict XVI.

Vatican YouTube (www.youtube.com/vatican)
The Holy See launched this channel to provide coverage of Pope Benedict XVI and other activities at the Vatican.

Readings for Mass (www.usccb.org)
The website of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops provides the readings for the Mass each day. It also features the New American Bible, movie reviews, and official statements.

Roman Missal (www.usccb.org/romanmissal)
The prayers and responses used at Mass will soon change. This website, established by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, provides a thorough explanation.

Diocese of Richmond (www.richmonddiocese.org)
Saint Timothy parish belongs to the Diocese of Richmond. The diocesan website offers information about our bishop, the Most Reverend Francis DiLorenzo, and the many diocesan offices that serve parishes.

Catholic Virginian (www.catholicvirginian.org)
This is the newspaper of the Diocese of Richmond, which features articles of international, national, and local interest to Catholics.

Virginia Catholic Conference (www.vacatholic.org)
This organization is the collaboration of the two dioceses in Virginia, Arlington and Richmond. It works to lobby the state and federal legislatures on important public-policy matters. It features official statements by the bishops of Virginia.

Catholic News Service (www.catholicnews.com)
This organization provides some of the best official news about the Catholic Church in the United States, as well as the Vatican.

Mass Times (www.masstimes.org)
This website provides a schedule of Masses for parishes throughout the United States.
